HURRICANE KATRINA ANIMAL RESCUE

Honey Bear, 8-month-old survivor, has his first exam in the Society's clinic.


Chip is a 5 year old male Cockerpoo.

Violet is an active young Rottweiler.  She is 10 months old.

Carla is a pretty calico and white domestic shorthair, 1 year old.

Louisa is a friendly gray and white bobtail, 1 year old.

Beignet is a 1 year old female domestic shorthair, brown tabby and white.

Troy is an exceptionally friendly 1 year old orange domestic shorthair.  He is FIV+ and is clinically healthy.

Dylan is a gentle 2 year old Beagle.  He was found outside New Orleans , exhausted and swimming in four feet of floodwater.

Saint is a beautiful Labrador/Shepherd mix, 3 years old.  She tested positive for heartworm and is now receiving treatment in the Society's hospital.

Honey Bear is an 8 month old Chow mix. He arrived at the Society in poor condition and is now recovering from emaciation and exposure.

Buster is a male black and white Hound/Pit mix, 6 months old.

Luke has been renamed since his arrival at the Humane Society of New York. He's a very friendly little guy. Probably about a year old. He has a tabby coat with mitted or ticked look - like an Abyssinian's coat. He is FIV+ and from St. Bernard Parish.
