No. 30 Born in Dublin, Alen Mac Weeney began his illustrious career in Paris, as Richard Avedon’s assistant. For a half century his work has appeared in The New Yorker, Vogue, Life, Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire. Not only does he create wonderful images of dogs, he also records with the same skill country houses, landscapes, portraits and gardens, and has published books on all with great insight.
